Great American Songbook

This theatrical Broadway-style production is complete with creative sets, colorful costumes and clever choreography. Eight multi-talented singers and dancers, along with a sizzling jazz trio, bring to life America's favorite songs. The performance will include everything from the music of The Wizard of Oz, Motown's The Temptations and The Supremes, Rogers and Hammerstein, and Gershwin, to Ray Charles, Billy Joel and Michael Buble. This will be a dazzling musical evening for the whole family.

Ernest Green, “The Celebration of Christmas” is a colorful and joyous combination of such seasonal pop classics as I’ll be Home for Christmas, It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year, and Sleigh Ride, as well as traditional carols you know and love such as Silent Night. A reading of “Twas the Night Before Christmas” ties the bow on this perfect holiday package. Join Mr. Green, members of the Annapolis Chorale, the Annapolis Chamber Orchestra and special guest artists for a wonderful night of holiday cheer.

Recognized as "New Hampshire's Ambassadors to the World," Rick and Ron Shaw have shared the stage with such notables as Bob Hope, Bill Crosby, Johnny Mathis and John Denver, to name a few. They recorded "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing" which later became the Coca-Cola jingle. They serve up their own unique blend of traditional, contemporary and original songs interspersed with humor, poems and stories. Their performance is exciting, diverse, sophisticated, wholesome, uplifting and fun.

This classically trained ensemble, including clarinet, cello, and violin, has thrilled international audiences for over a decade with their exotic blend of musical skill, artistic passion, and intimate audience rapport. They are recent winners of NPR's Debut Artists of The Year Award.
